Non-Traditional Venue Review

a couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of doing a Venue walk through with one of my August brides.  She introduced me to Chris Blair the owner of the Listening Room Cafe.  The Listening room is located in Cummings Station right next to the Frist Museum, Flying Saucer, and Union Station Hotel.  Chris a singer/songwriter opened the venue in 2008, and with the help of an executive chef he has established a very hip live music venue that also offers full catering service, either on-site for a private party, or at any location you choose.

Venue Stats:
  • 5200 square foot events space with room for up to 250 guests
  • Free parking next to venue
  • Tables, chairs, and linens (black, white) available for rent on site
  • Fully customizable menu
  • giant patio for your guest to enjoy some fresh air, OR set up tables and chairs
  • Stage and sound system set and ready for you LIVE music or DJ
  • Bartenders and waitstaff on site
Call Chris today at 615.259.3600 or visit them on the web here.

They are also very social check them out on facebook, or twitter

Planning an event or not, stop in listen to some great live music and try some WONDERFUL food.  I recommend the BBQ Nachos. :)

  1. Is there any good wedding location idea for reception night party? I am very puzzled about the wedding preparations and would like to need help from some professionals or any ideas how I can manage my wedding appropriately.
